Beats365 Review

5/5 Stars

"This site rocks - You'll need a lifetime to go through all these beats - mega-cool"

Even if you aren’t a big hip hop or rap fan, chances are you’ll be encouraged to bounce along to the contagious tune that greets visitors at Beats365!

It’s a clever rhyme and shows some thought has gone into this website, rather than it being something that’s quickly slapped up and forgotten. Of course, we all know that some catchy little ditty playing in the background doesn’t necessarily mean that this is an honest, good place, and that everything’s on the up and up. Join us as we take a closer look at Beats365.com and learn whether or not this website has the audio bling… or if it’s just another ding-a-ling.

To start off with, we have to look and see just what Beats365.com really is. While there are a large number of music download sites out on the web, and quite a few movie download sites, Beats365 is unique in that it caters to those who want hip hop and reggae-styled beats. Try as one might, you won’t be able to find any My Chemical Romance songs on this website, nor are you able to unearth any Jessica Simpson. The website seems to deliver exactly as it promises - over 100,000 hip hop beats. In fact, they claim to have the biggest hip hop beats and audio database ever and, as far as one can see, they definitely seem to have a corner on this market.

Of course, this leads into another good question - Just where are they getting all these great beats to share with the masses? According to Beats365, Champ Entertainment of New York, Hollywood, Dallas, and Atlanta are producing new music, every year, and that it’s this music that is made available for download. In addition to 39 different genres and styles, there is also a very large database of sound effects, nature sounds, accapellas and instruments from various artists, with new beats and sounds added every month. Any way you look at it, this site definitely seems to have enough material to give a fan some fun material to work with, for quite some time to come.

One concern is that the site owner volunteers that members of his site can reach him, 24/7, on his telephone, with AIM. While this gives a definite personal feel to the website, it can also tend to make one leery of the site and whether or not this is just a fly-by-night operation. People have a tendency to be more reassured if they think there are multiple operators, waiting to take their calls. The site owner does receive kudos, however, for dealing with problems firsthand, even if it is the unpopular route to take. Email support is also offered on the site, though it may be more beneficial and help to make the website more user-friendly, if the contact information had its own page.

It was also disappointing to click on links that offered to let you listen to this week’s downloads, only to find that they are not in working order. This leads us to question whether or not the new downloads are simply disabled to the general public, or if there is a website glitch that is preventing everyone from listening to the samples. With no real tech support listed, one can only assume these problems should be addressed to the site owner and that he will take care of them, but no mention of technical qualifications or of satisfaction guarantees are visible. The lack of a guarantee could prove to be more detrimental to the website than anything else, with more and more internet surfers becoming aware of marketing scams.

With the exception of a couple of minor glitches, however, Beats365 seems a very promising website and it’s encouraging to hear that they assist would-be musicians as well.

The cost for this wonderful service is a simple one time fee of less than $35.00, and this grants the member unlimited access to the different beats and sounds of choice. Beats365 assures potential customers that this one time fee has “no catch, no recurring fees and no limits,” as well as stressing that there are no hidden charges and that people will never be billed again. Beats 365 takes credit card payments and is also Paypal friendly.
Beats365 is highly recommended.
